“My passion is to inspire others to be their very best selves, to be curious about their potential and to find peace within.”
My yoga practice began about 15 years ago with meditation and yoga during a transitional period in my life. It offered tools for clarity and growth which opened a new world of opportunity and a more positive way of viewing the world. Having experienced firsthand the healing potential of yoga and meditation, I draw on that experience to offer opportunities for others to grow and heal.
This taste of yoga inspired me to complete a 200-hour teacher training program with Breathe Joy Yoga of Sharon and to further exploration in yoga at the Millis Yoga Studio in Millis, MA for my 500-hour certification. I have also received certification in Reiki/Thai Massage/Mindfulness/Yin and Meridian yoga.
In a world that runs on overdrive, I feel it's so important to expose as many people as possible to the potential for something else. Something that can connect them to nature and outdoor spaces, something that can offer the opportunity to pause and connect to themselves.
People who know me are not really surprised when I tell them I teach yoga and meditation, they usually say "of course you do" (with a smile). People are curious though when I mention lesser known aspects of my yoga journey like sound healing, sound bath, kirtan and mudra's. It's another opportunity to take their curiosity and surprise and open a door for them to be inspired by.
One of my favorite quotes: “When you find peace within, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.” (author unknown)
